OpsPilot AI

Reducing operational complexity through AI-assisted workflows.

Problem

Production incidents force engineers, ops, and PMs to gather information from disconnected systems before they even understand what happened. Postmortems are written from memory days later.

Insight

Incident response is a knowledge-assembly problem, not a tooling problem. The information already exists — it's just scattered. An AI that knows where to look and how to summarize what it finds compresses hours into minutes.

Product

OpsPilot AI accelerates incident investigation, operational awareness, evidence collection, root-cause analysis, and postmortem generation — pulling context from the systems on-call engineers already use.

Key Features

  • Incident timeline auto-assembled from logs, alerts, and chat.
  • Evidence collection with provenance for every claim.
  • Hypothesis generation grounded in past incidents.
  • Postmortem drafts written in your team's voice.

Product Journey

  • Started from a personal observation: the first 30 minutes of an incident is mostly typing in three Slack channels.
  • Prototyped an evidence collector, then layered hypothesis and narrative generation.

Challenges

  • Earning trust during high-stress moments — UX has to be calm, not chatty.
  • Provenance is non-negotiable; nobody trusts an AI claim during an incident.

Lessons Learned

  • AI for high-stakes workflows must show its sources, every time.

Future Vision

On-call becomes a paired experience — the human leads, the AI handles the assembly.
